Norman Understein

CEO/Executive Chairman

Mr. Understein is a founder of the Company and has served as a director since the Company’s inception in February, 1999. Mr. Understein has over 35 years of founding and managing start-up businesses including those involved in marketing, hotel development, residential and commercial real estate development, medical imaging facilities (MRI, PET), publishing and the Internet (a founder of: Bid4Assets, Inc., Legal Notice Registry Corporation, Credit Card Applications, and others).  He was a founder of and investor in 20/20 Laser Centers, which was acquired by TLC-The Laser Center, a public company that helped bring laser vision correction to the United States; Timesaver, Inc., an international credit card marketing company; and Metro Publishing Company, obtaining recognition as the first company to publish the pocketsize zip code directory with sales over 1 million copies.  Mr. Understein was a Registered Securities Principal with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and the National Association of Securities Dealers (“NASD”) from 1983 until 2000, was a licensed real estate agent until 2010, and a private pilot.  He earned his B.S. degree from Bradley University.

 

Robert I. Sax, Ph.D.

Vice President - Business Development

Rob has over 34 years' experience as a CEO running a business he spearheaded, building it from scratch into a worldwide industry leader, serving many major food and beverage companies.  He was responsible for business strategy, including the development and execution of business plans and the formulation of business initiatives leading to market share growth.  Rob worked closely with sales and marketing to develop brand recognition and a client base necessary for any successful business endeavor, and has experience overseeing development and licensing of proprietary products, services and technologies instrumental in business growth.  Rob holds BS and MS degress from Penn State University and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of London.

 

James E. Savitz, Esquire

Vice President - Real Estate Settlement Products

Mr. Savitz is a leader in the field of Real Estate Law, with over 40 years of legal practice. He is a founding principal of Village Settlements, Montgomery County, Maryland. He is the only Montgomery County, Maryland attorney to receive the Affiliate of the Year award from both the Montgomery County and Maryland Association of Realtors.  Mr. Savitz graduated from Indiana University in 1971, and from the American University, Washington College of Law in 1975. He is admitted to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court, and the State and Federal Courts in Maryland, West Virginia, and D.C. He is a member of the American Bar Association, as well as the Bar Associations of Montgomery County, Maryland, the State Bar Associations of Maryland and West Virginia, as well as the D.C. Bar Association.  Mr. Savitz actively participates in the life of the community. From 1997-2007, he served on the board of the Shady Grove Hospital Foundation. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Friends of Wells Robertson House, serving two years as president, and served on the Market Square Advisory Board of the City of Gaithersburg, Maryland and Potomac, Maryland, and the Montgomery County Childcare Commission.  Mr. Savitz was honored by being selected to the 2011 Super Lawyers.

 

Tuyen Ma

Assistant to the Executive-Chairman

Tuyen is a motivated professional with over 15 year's of experience in accounting, and management. Tuyen works in number of operational management roles with eDeposit. Tuyen has implemented processes and controls to ensure that company operates efficiently, including liaison with the other officers of the company. Tuyen also has a great deal of experience in workflow optimization and customer support. This gives Tuyen the ability to use creative solutions to craft operational efficiencies within the company, and still provide each customer with that "one-on-one" experience.
